A picture of Grampound Road taken from the air by Terry Hartley. We are situated in Mid Cornwall half way between Truro and St Austell. We are not on a main road but the rail mainline from London to Penzance runs through the middle of the village. However the station no longer exists.
Grampound Road has three strong cricket teams. The First Team came third in the Cornwall Premier League, the Second Team were Runners-up in Division Three and the Third Team were Champions of Division Seven in East Cornwall. They play on the Village Playing Field nearly every Saturday and Sunday in the season.
The Robert Harvey Memorial Hall. The Playgroup meets here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
